The Role

As the VP of Product at Ottimate, you will be a key leader responsible for shaping Ottimate's product vision and driving the execution of strategic initiatives that fuel our growth and market leadership. In this role, you will oversee our global product organization (spanning product platform, vertical solutions, and product design), playing a pivotal role in defining Ottimate's product roadmap and spearheading initiatives to expand into new markets and verticals. This is a dynamic and influential senior leadership position that requires a blend of visionary thinking, technical expertise, and hands-on execution to drive innovation and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

What You'll Do

Strategic Product Leadership : Develop and execute a holistic product strategy aligned with Ottimate's business objectives and market opportunities. Define clear product roadmaps, prioritize feature development, and set go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and successful product launches. Champion a collaborative approach that fosters innovation, accelerates time-to-market, and maximizes customer satisfaction.

Product Innovation and Differentiatio n: Drive product innovation by leveraging market insights, customer feedback, and industry trends to continuously enhance Ottimate's product offerings. Identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage through strategic product enhancements and new feature development.

Team Leadership and Development : Lead and mentor a diverse global product team (spanning platform, design, and verticals), fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to empower team members and drive high performance.

Technical Acumen and Execution Excellence : Partner closely with the Head of Engineering to align product development with technical capabilities and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform. Maintain a hands-on approach to product management, actively engaging in product design, feature prioritization, and execution.

Market Analysis and Customer Insights : Conduct in-depth market research, engage with industry stakeholders, and gather customer insights to inform product decisions and optimize product-market fit. Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring that Ottimate's solutions meet the evolving needs of our target audience.

Senior Leadership Team : Actively participate in senior leadership meetings, providing product insights, and contributing to overall company strategy and direction. Collaborate closely with executives from all areas of the business to ensure alignment and successful product launches.

What You'll Need

MBA qualification preferred, with a bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Engineering, or related field. MS/BS in Engineering or STEM is a huge plus.

10+ years of progressive experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and scaling product organizations within growth-stage SaaS companies. Deep product expertise spanning both strategic and technical product management, with a focus on driving innovation and delivering exceptional value to customers.

Extensive expertise in verticalized SaaS solutions, ideally within the fintech industry, with a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.

Experience managing and mentoring large product teams (15+ members), fostering collaboration and innovation.

Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable product strategies and execution plans.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Experience in AI-based product development and a mix of B2B and B2C product management is highly desirable.

Strong preference towards candidates located on the West Coast of the US
