Job Description Job Description CommTech, a New Charter Technologies Company, is looking for an IT Business Development Representative (MSP) with proactive outside selling experience to join our exceptional team of professionals. Salary: $40k - $55K Base (DOE) + Commission and Bonus plan (NO CAP ON COMMISSION)
Basic Functions:
Conduct prospecting efforts to uncover and identify new IT sales opportunities in the business community.
Initiate contact with prospects generated by the Marketing Team.
Work with prospects to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into solutions that satisfy their demands.
Conduct presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to prospects.
Work with management to develop proposals, quotes, and respond to RFP/RFI documents.
Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations.
Manage the complexity of Managed IT services proposals, contracts, lease agreements, and service level agreements.
Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings and unique selling propositions of the company
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
Experience in outside sales
Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
Possess a track record of managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales process
Enjoy working with customers and external audiences
Self-motivated
Proficient with general office applications
Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer care
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly

Physical Requirements
Work is primarily knowledge-worker oriented using computer systems. Occasional exertion and lifting of up to 20 pounds to move office or computer equipment. Occasional crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Constant use of computer (keyboard/mouse), and phone. Visually inspects, prepares, and analyzes data & figures, views computer constantly. Occasional travel (car/airplane). Occasional exposure to outdoor environmental conditions as a result of travel.
