About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Strategy to lead a high-profile team that supports the Executive Leadership Team and a wide range of corporate functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the development and refresh of the company's long-range plan, managing large cross-functional projects, leading high-impact strategy initiatives, and providing insight into external market and competitive factors. This role requires a proven leader with excellent executive communication skills, a strong understanding of business fundamentals, and at least 10 years of experience in a strategy, consulting, or investment banking role, with a focus on retail, apparel, DTC brands, or ecommerce. The candidate should be a visionary strategist, adept at engaging and influencing decision-making at all levels, and capable of leading a team of dedicated associates in a dynamic, non-hierarchical business environment.The ideal candidate for this role at the company will be a lifelong learner with a boundless curiosity to better the company, and a data enthusiast with a detail-oriented yet adaptable approach to problem-solving. They should have experience in international retail and a good understanding of financial accounting, modeling, and valuation. The role demands an agile leader who can challenge the status quo, think creatively and strategically, and manage multiple projects to a conclusion. A strong background in market and consumer research, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional business partners, is essential. The candidate should be an entrepreneurial, self-starter who is comfortable with change and ambiguity, and able to handle significant responsibility in a highly strategic retail or brand organization.
