In a world of ever-emerging technologies, the number of tools to manage cloud-native applications becomes more overwhelming every year. This vastly increases the cognitive load for developers, decreases their productivity and forces them to become experts in areas different from their own. With Okteto, you code locally in your favorite IDE and Okteto takes care of updating your application in your development environment to provide continuous feedback as you code. No commit, build, push, or deploy required.

What you'll be doing Support Okteto for our strategic and large prospects

Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process

Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of Okteto products through strong account management activities and coordination with pre-and-post sales engineering and support resources

Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in large/strategic accounts

Be the voice of the customer by contributing product ideas to our Product team

Generate qualified leads and develop new customers towards the goal of exceeding quota.

Travel as necessary to accounts in order to develop relationships and close large opportunities

A good fit Knowledge of DevOps and Kubernetes is a must have for the role!

Experience in a high growth startup

Understand the sales cycle and have show success in the past

Knowledge of how to cultivate growth in customers

Nice to have Ability to provide a high degree of major account management and success

A true desire to see customers benefit from the investment they make with you

Be autonomous and accountable in your efforts

Proven success with B2B and DevOps software sales

Experience selling into large organizations

Interest in Okteto and open source software

Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success

Effective communicator (written/verbal), strong interpersonal skills

Motivated, driven and results-oriented

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
