We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales Development to drive business growth for our AAE (SDR/BDR) teams globally. This role requires strong sales leadership skills and experience managing large sales teams. Our AAEs are AEs in training - generating qualified leads for our Account Executive team while completing a rigorous development program to be promoted to AE level in ~6 months.

Responsibilities
Provide second-line sales leadership, leveraging experience in leading sales leaders to drive revenue growth and coach new talent
Oversee a substantial sales organization, including 6 AAE Managers and 100+ AAEs (Associate Account Executives, equivalent to Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)/Business Development Representatives (BDRs) at other companies)
Mentor and coach AAE Managers to achieve sales targets and support AAEs in maximizing their sales potential to grow into AEs in ~ 6 months
Work closely with University Recruiting team to find and hire new talent for our Verkadamy sales training program
Track KPIs, report on team progress, and use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and achieve sales targets.
Requirements
Sales Leadership Experience: Minimum 4+ years of leading BDR/SDR sales leaders, preferably in the technology industry.
Experience managing large teams ( 100+ individuals) of AAEs (SDRs/BDRs) and AAE Managers
Experience with coaching and mentoring SDRs to grow into Account Executives
Ability to identify new market opportunities and forge partnerships
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Travel Required: Willingness to travel to Verkada's US and International offices
