Application Support Analyst

General Description: Responsible for resolving application and system issues related to multiple applications.
Responsibilities:
•Manage incoming tickets related to business applications. Troubleshoot system problems and issues. Deliver end-user satisfaction by providing excellent customer service.
•Liaison between IT and the business team. Participate in project prioritization and business adoption.
•Attend meetings with internal customers and/or outside vendors to jointly determine needs.
•Train other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
•Assist in system upgrades, installations, and testing of the applications.
•Provide support for critical situations (in conjunction with others).
•Ensure environments are set up, ready per schedule and administered throughout project phases.
•Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures; support internal/external audits
•Document activities and create reference materials. Includes detailed remediation steps, notices, reminders, technical standards and security policies.
Cyber Security Job Responsibilities:
•Operate in accordance with USI Policies for the Information Security Program (PISP) and USI Standards for the Information Security Program (SISP)
•Keep up to date with security updates and improvements. Implement improvements as appropriate.
•Protect systems against unauthorized access by appropriately defining access.
•Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security and technical controls.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•3+ years of Insurance Operations/Accounting knowledge or IT Support
•Microsoft SQL Knowledge
•Working knowledge of insurance applications. Includes Sagitta, BenefitPoint, ImageRight, ConceptOne, SurePath, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and other business applications.
•Insurance Operations/Accounting knowledge or IT Support.
•Ability to test, review, and analyze data between systems.
•Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office.
•Ability to develop and adhere to project timelines and to work under deadlines.
•Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
•Effective analytical/problem solving and research skills.
•Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
•Strong organizational skills, excellent communication and people skills.

Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000. This is a bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 5%.
