VP, Lending Analytics (Hybrid)_

This position is part of Lending analytics team within the larger US Customer Analytics organization. Citi US Consumer Bank offers a suite of Unsecured Lending & deposit products to existing customers.

Role Description

Lending analytics team is responsible generating actionable insights develop marketing and targeting strategies to hit shared goals for US Consumer Unsecured Lending growth. The analyst will focus on the development of comprehensive strategy recommendations based on multiple factors such as in-depth customer insights (analytically derived); sound financial impact forecasting and thorough understanding of competitive landscape. Team collaborates with functional teams from Product, Marketing, Risk, and technology, customer experience departments to assess, develop and launch lending growth strategies.

Day to Day Responsibilities include:

+ Creating omni-channel marketing and targeting strategies to hit shared goals for US Consumer lending

+ Make data driven recommendations using statistical and non-statistical tools to develop targeting strategies – covering all channels, new to market and cross sell to existing cards and bank customers.

+ Collaborate with functional teams from Product, Marketing, Risk, and technology

+ Conduct financial analysis and forecasting for program recommendations

+ Retrieve data and conduct data driven industry leading analytics utilizing various analytical tools, software, and techniques.

+ Utilize statistical and segmentation tools to develop targeting strategies

+ Understand all the drivers of financials and the underlying consumer behaviors that drive those financials. Be able to articulate these to cross functional partners.

+ Support the execution priorities of Lending analytics team

+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective project management. Create, update, and track project plans for multiple deliverable

+ Design tests and learn agenda with business partners & identify marketing efficiency improvement opportunities

+ Cross functional leadership (communication and influencing) to drive towards common goal

+ The incumbent will leverage industry best practices, navigate and leverage internal relationships and become the key point of contact to ensure delivery and adoption

+ Ensure robust quantity control in the analytical processes

+ Ability to link technical/ analytical solutions to business problems

**Domain Skills** _(Preferred)_

+ (Required) Experience in financial services

+ ( _Preferred)_ Experience in installment loan products

**Education and Experience:**

+ _(Preferred)_ Post Graduate in – Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Econometrics, Management Science and related fields

+ 6-10 years of experience in business analytics

+ (Required) Working knowledge of technical skills: Python, Hadoop, Hive

+ (preferred) Working knowledge on digital data
