**Job Title: Housing Assistant**
**Location: Sacramento, CA**
**Pay Range: $19.65/hr**
**Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Receive applications and interview new and continuing applicants
+ Explain policies and procedures and conduct orientations and briefing sessions for prospective participants
+ Take information for pre-applications over the phone
+ Determine new and continued eligibility for all housing program applicants
+ Calculate tenant financial responsibility
+ Maintain waiting list and waiting pool
+ Prepare forms to verify participant income and deductions
+ Prepare purchase requisitions and financial statements
+ Prepare leases and contracts
**What’s Needed:**
+ Must possess a can-do attitude and excellent attendance.
+ High attention to detail.
+ Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, such as: Word processing, Excel and information systems.
+ Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
+ Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
+ Self-starter with ability to learn systems quickly.
+ Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
