Job Summary
The Manager, Engage plays a critical role in supporting patient advocates and care partners who share their personal health stories with Reverba’s clients – top-tier biomedical and pharmaceutical companies. As a member of the Patient Partner team, the manager will coordinate events and support patient advocates both virtually and in-person in a variety of activities designed to advance understanding of diseases and products in the healthcare field and inspire people to take action. This role will consult with clients and colleagues on how to create the best advocate experience at photo and video shoots, media interviews, speaking engagements, advisory boards and more. And they travel to activities to support the advocate through all aspects of the process.
This position may require 30-50 % travel, variable at times. Travel is frequently outside the local area, overnight, and includes evenings and weekends.
Essential Job Functions
Service Delivery (90%)
Provide live (in-person) and virtual engagement management services for clients with business partners, advocates, and colleagues.
Plan, coordinate and attend engagements with advocates. Provide support and coaching, as needed.
Adhere to Reverba standards (e.g. policies, best practices) and follow standard operating procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Track and manage time while meeting deadlines.
Document work in a Microsoft database including all correspondence with patient advocates, progress on engagement management, and outcomes of activities across multiple accounts.
Strategy and Thought Leadership (10%)
Execute and innovate Reverba’s patient engagement strategies, client-specific policies and procedures, and operating best practices.
Provide constructive feedback to improve on operating procedures that result in compliant, high quality, patient-centric patient engagement management strategies and systems.
Communicate with account team and Engage leaders regarding client trends and[AB1] potential opportunities for service offering improvements or expansion.
Partner with internal project teams to problem-solve issues, innovate needed tools/procedures and evaluate outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Biology, Communications, Marketing or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated skills in coordinating in-person or virtual events including speaker trainings, , speaking engagements, video and photo shoots, or similar activities (health-related is preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confidence working with people at all levels within an organization and with diverse backgrounds and experiences
Ability to quickly and thoroughly prioritize and respond to multiple, simultaneous client and internal requests
Demonstrated experience working in customer/workflow management databases
Preferred
Remote and travel-for-work experience
Experience with biopharmaceutical marketing, public relations or affairs, advocacy relations and/or healthcare
Demonstrated experience performing detail-intensive work
Ability to anticipate and solve problems
“Can-do” attitude; ability to work quickly under deadlines to meet client needs
Highest level of professional courtesy, mutual respect and ethics
Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite of services
Work Environment
This job operates both remotely and (sometimes) in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

This is sometimes a sedentary role. When not travelling, employees work 8 or more hours a day at their desk.
Physical demands while traveling: this job requires the ability to travel, often by plane or train. While traveling, some activities require staff to be standing or moving for a full 8-10 hour day, multiple days in a row. Staff might need to run errands for our patient advocates or otherwise meet their needs while attending events. Staff spend nights at hotels and use services like taxis and rideshares to get to and from hotels to airports and engagement locations.
