Billing Specialist Department: ARC Mechanical
Employment Type: Full Time

Description The Billing Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely billing, contributing to the overall financial efficiency of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process all invoicing, including but not limited to Time & Material, Planned Maintenance, Fixed Fee projects as well as Project and AIA
Ensure that each invoice meets ARC’s internal requirements and had obtained proper approval
Generate and analyze necessary reporting to verify that final invoicing figures reconcile with project documentation
Review all invoicing prior to distribution to confirm that all remittance information is accurate and customer instructions are followed
Collaborate with AR Collections and Billing Specialist to assist with timely collection of all open receivable balances
Work with Service, Project and Sales team to ensure timely invoicing and that all monthly cutoffs are met
Work with Accounting team on year-end audit
Other projects as necessary
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High-level problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage shifting priorities.
Understand the nuances of a Union environment
5 years experience in a similar role (preferred)
Spectrum / Field Connect experience (preferred)
