What will I bedoing?ü Devise and execute comprehensive communication strategies designed to effectively convey the Gulf Coast Workforce Board's mission, goals, and initiativesü Ensure seamless collaboration with the communications department and other service providers, under the direction of the Human Services Director and H-GAC's contract liaison, to guarantee the delivery of contractual obligations.ü Oversee the multi-channel distribution of information encompassing digital platforms, traditional media, and printed materials for the 28 career offices.ü Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, and proactively coordinate press releases and media interviews.ü Internal dissemination of information, programs, and services within the career officesü Safeguard and enhance the Gulf Coast Workforce Board's brand identity by consistently adhering to messaging and visual standards.ü Update the Board's standards and guidelines related to public outreach and branding as needed.
KeyQualificationsü Demonstrated experience in strategic communications, public relations, or related roles.ü Exceptional leadership and project management skills.ü Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.ü Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.ü Exceptional understanding of workforce development.ü Aptitude for collaborative teamwork within a diverse and dynamic environment.
Do you have…ü Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of studyü 5years of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, schools, or in job-related duties
Preferred Qualificationsü Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
