Vice President of Sales (Engineering Consulting Firm) - Remote
Our client is a Private Equity backed Engineering Consulting Firm that due to company growth, is looking to hire a Vice President of Sales. This is an exciting position with a national engineering firm that provides engineering safety and environmental consulting services.
This role is primarily remote but includes travel up to 40% of the time to clients nationwide. You will be responsible for overseeing 5 sales professionals with the plan for the team to double in the next year. Ideally, they are looking for a professional who will be a manager/builder, as well as having individual contributor responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of sales strategy with a focus on driving new client acquisition and program clients
Develop and implement critical sales processes sales KPI dashboards, and provide regular reports to leadership
Lead, hire, evaluate, train and manage sales team members to achieve sales objectives and maximize performance
Prepare and present sales forecast and other sales analyses and actively contribute to Monthly and Quarterly reviews
Work closely with other functional and leadership to help improve communication, streamline workflows, and improve revenue forecasting and gross margins
Qualifications:
8+ years of working experience, with focus on sales leadership and management of sales staff
Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, consistently delivering sales targets
Experience in growing, leading, and managing a sales organization, including hiring, training and retaining strong sales team members
Expertise in building key sales related processes, incentive plans and produce timely KPI reports
Be highly analytical, quantitative, with strong critical thinking and sound business judgement
