About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Software Engineering Chapter Lead for its Claim Technology organization. This role is pivotal in defining the technical vision and strategy for engineers, removing productivity barriers, and enhancing the effectiveness of the software engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all claim software engineers, driving the development and delivery of modern engineering practices, and contributing to the business capabilities of the claim. As a thought leader, the VP will create and maintain best practices, identify and champion technical initiatives, and lead efforts to utilize technology for process enhancement. The role also involves fostering a culture of innovation, providing technical leadership, and developing a robust talent pipeline.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least seven years of programming/development experience, and a minimum of three years of technical leadership experience. Key attributes include excellent delivery, domain expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. The VP, of Software Engineering Chapter Lead will be expected to influence multiple teams, foster a team environment, and provide mentorship to technical resources. The role requires a leader who can create significant and lasting impacts on business and engineering goals while enabling others to reach their potential.
