About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Strategy to oversee the strategic growth objectives within its geographic Market Service Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and setting the strategic direction, including growth, delivery system, physician development initiatives, service line planning, business development, and strategic partnerships. This role requires a Master's degree in health administration, business, or public administration, or equivalent education and experience, and a minimum of 12 years in a complex managed healthcare environment with a strong background in strategic and business planning, financial analysis, and program development. The VP, Strategy will also be accountable for monitoring patient and community access to care and must have a deep understanding of healthcare operations, project management, and quality improvement.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large-scale change initiatives, supervising effective teams, and engaging in a team environment. They should possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, and be adept at fostering cooperation, innovation, and high-performance teamwork. Knowledge of the local healthcare industry, particularly The Company, is preferred. The VP, Strategy will be a key member of the Area Leadership Team, supporting the Chief Strategy & Growth Officer and maintaining effective relationships with regional and system leaders, physician leaders, and community stakeholders. The role demands a self-starter with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, a results-driven approach, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
