About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Clinical Strategy to lead the clinical goals for specific therapeutic franchises. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall clinical leadership, including the development and execution of clinical strategy and plans for the company's product candidates. This role is pivotal in the preparation for commercialization, ensuring that the scientific and medical aspects align with the product's value proposition. The Head of Clinical Strategy will also serve as the clinical team's representative in cross-functional program teams, provide clinical insight for early-stage asset evaluation, and lead global clinical development and therapeutic area strategies. Applicants must have a Medical Degree, with U.S. licensure and Board Certification in a relevant therapeutic area strongly preferred. A minimum of 20 years' experience in therapeutic development, with at least 10 years in a bio-pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical company, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Phase 3 program development, trial conduct, and experience with NDA/BLA submissions. Extensive knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and global regulatory requirements is essential. The role demands a leader with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams, as well as the ability to cultivate cross-functional collaborations and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. The Head of Clinical Strategy will be the single point of accountability for the design, delivery, and interpretation of clinical studies, ensuring their ethical and scientific integrity. The position also requires the ability to provide medical oversight for ongoing trials, support in issue and crisis management, and engage in activities such as organizing Advisory Boards with Key Opinion Leaders and providing BOD and investor updates. A strong commitment to ethical standards, a history of peer-reviewed publications, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite are expected.
