Job Overview: As a Senior Accounting Manager at our dynamic and fast-growing company, you will lead our accounting operations and contribute to the strategic financial management that supports our business objectives. You will report directly to our CFO and play a critical role in shaping our financial strategies and ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Supervision and Reporting:
Direct comprehensive preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial statements adhering to GAAP
Provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, highlighting key financial statements, trends, and variances
Implement rigorous financial controls to ensure accuracy in reporting
Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis:
Drive the financial planning process, aligning budgeting and forecasting with the company's strategic objectives
Conduct detailed variance analysis and develop financial models to support decision-making
Present insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
Operational and Compliance Oversight:
Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including but not limited to, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Lead the preparation for annual audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes
Team Leadership and Staff Development:
Lead, mentor, and expand a team of accounting professionals
Design comprehensive training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the team
Process Improvement and Systems Integration:
Evaluate current accounting processes and systems for efficiency and effectiveness
Lead initiatives to improve financial systems and infrastructure
Integrate new tools and technologies to streamline accounting processes
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role
Extensive experience in financial reporting, budget development, and fiscal management
Skills:
Expert knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
High proficiency in financial software and databases
Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a diverse environment
Benefits
Compensation:
Salary: $195,000 - $240,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
