Description
Functions/Duties: This position is responsible for developing new foundry business in new areas as well as within existing key accounts in the North America Region.
Responsibilities (In Order of Importance) :
Identify new areas of opportunity that have not been addressed.
Monitor markets, trend analysis and incorporation of feedback as well as providing reports to our Technology and Marketing departments.
Identify new business opportunities within key accounts and potential large accounts.
Cover all the X-FAB technology portfolio including CMOS, Microsystems and Silicon Carbide for new business development.
Conduct contract negotiations with business partners.
Address all related commercial aspects of customers.
Technical responsibility for aligning customer needs with foundry capabilities through collaboration with field application engineers.
Provide regular reports to regional manager and management.
Current Skills/Competencies :
Experience in wafer foundry business and proven track record of at least 5 years of developing business
Professional attitude with interpersonal and communication skills for interfacing with business partners on all levels of an organization.
Excellent social skills to establish new relationships with potential customers.
Proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in a business environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with external and internal partners.
Problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proven team member & self-starter.
Proven track record of successful sales.
Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals professionally.
Experience managing large multi-national customer accounts.
Domestic and international travel required.
Experience in the field of Microsystems (MEMS) and Silicon Carbide technologies is a PLUS
Location:
Preferably San Francisco Bay Area; alternatively, within 25 miles of a major United States airport hub. Hybrid work mode possible.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Education/Skills Background: B.S. Degree in EE, Physics, Engineering or Business Administration.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Semiconductors and a minimum of 5 years in B2B Business Development.
