The Role
As an Account Executive (AE), you will act as the main point of contact to manage opportunities and prospects. You will need to be expected to thrive in a high velocity environment. Successful AEs will possess a demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships and sell products in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly competitive with the ability to collaborate in a team environment, possess strong interpersonal and communicative skills. This is a fully remote position in a fully remote organization, with team members spread across multiple countries and time zones. Though we require that employees be available from 10 AM to 2 PM ET regardless of time zone, our work policy allows for a flexible schedule. Outside of this, it is expected that employees are always meeting deadlines and attending pre-arranged meetings.
Responsible for managing overall business activities for high-profile named accounts and/or specific assigned market segments that lead to the expansion and growth of new business. Accountable for the coordination and strategy on assigned key accounts. Responsible for the overall development and implementation of the account plan.
Main Responsibilities
Identifies prospects and introduces CacheFly to new accounts and markets, closes new sales opportunities in order to meet/exceed established sales/revenue quotas. Provides comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts.
Expands and coordinates existing customer relationships in order to gain strategic positioning within the client organizations, as well as retain existing revenue and attain additional business service offerings.
Provides input to sales management about changes taking place within the customer’s organization, and makes recommendations about future courses of action towards improving its position with the customer.
Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecast, funnel and pipeline of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
Drives account management responsibilities including solution creation, solution offering. Demonstrates a balance of strategic and tactical thought leadership.
Answers inbound leads generated from the website and marketing campaigns
What We Look For In a Candidate
1 years of sales experience in CDN/technology
Knowledge and understanding of the Internet industry's competitive landscape.
Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
Proficient in Presentation Software and Spreadsheet Software tools
At least 50% of the time conducting sales activities online via web conferencing or if necessary in person
Skills: Personal accountability, professional communication and demonstrated time management skills.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to build relationships over the phone. Must have a proactive communication style ensuring timely status of projects to account team and customer. Must be able to develop relationships and communicate with customer Executive and Procurement staff.
