YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leads and inspires a high performing Operations Team that supports Brenntag's Core Values and the Brenntag Way execution for business conduct and compliance.* Contributes to the delivery of service excellence to both internal and external customer groups.* Builds and maintains a positive work environment by actively driving employee initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement and satisfaction.* Manages all facility and manufacturing activities to achieve required business objectives as set out by management while ensuring customer needs and requirements are met.* Responsible for tracking site and project performance using appropriate KPIs, metrics, tools, and techniques.* Responsible for planning, overseeing and leading continuous improvement projects from ideation through to completion.* Maintains and recommends improvement for all manufacturing equipment, trucks, and plant facilities to maximize facility output and ensures installations or upgrades are conducted in accordance with municipal, provincial and federal regulations;* Participates in the annual budgeting and planning process and manages operational budget (staffing, projects, capital expenditure etc.) within agreed upon budget parameters and principles.* Resolves production issues related to customer service problems.* Participates in assigned area emergency response preparedness.* Administers and ensures compliance of all aspects of the site to ISO standards and Responsible Distribution Canada registrations.* Ensures safety is the first priority and that all activities are conducted in accordance with quality, health, safety and environmental management systems as well as corporate and local policies.
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
* 2 years supervisory experience leading union staff preferred* 2 years experience within Food Distribution preferred.* Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.* Must be able to work independently.* Must have the ability to multitask and work with various groups within a outside of facility.* Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, word, etc.)
