Sr Product Support Specialist (Tribrid/Orbitrap)

With annual revenues exceeding $800M and over 1000 employees worldwide, Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry (LSMS) offers customers a complete range of high-end analytical instruments and software services that support customers within proteomics, clinical research, forensic toxicology, pharmaceutical, biotech, food safety, and environmental market segments.
What will you do:
Provide technical and application specific product support for released and produced LSMS products with emphasis on resolving application issues using a system level approach.
Build and disseminate important factory and field information critical to product or field service problems, with efforts that support improvements in products and service, corrective action, or cost reductions.
Identify gaps in the current support systems and develop or improve and implement customer centric solutions for current and future products.
Work with the factory teams to ensure current products meet our high level of quality and that new products meet product design criteria for serviceability, specifications, and applications performance.
Develop and provide training programs to the worldwide field service and support organization including clinical applications specific training as well as system level training for our Class I medical devices.
Develop, build documentation and maintain existing documentation following GDP (Good Documentation Practice)
Other miscellaneous duties might be assigned.
How will you get here:
Education MS degree in Chemistry or related field
PhD Degree in Chemistry preferred.
Experience 5+ years of experience in developing applications and operating/maintaining LSMS systems ideally with LC front end.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Excellent analytical capability with strong attention to detail and knowledge about the most common ...... workflows.
Outstanding problem solving and communication skills especially looking after customers face-to-face.
Self motivate, strong customer service
Flexible with the ability to adjust readily to new situations.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Proven written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 25%

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $95,600.00-$143,450.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
