The Company is in search of a Vice President, Policy & Advocacy to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a driven and highly respected individual with a passion for public policy, government affairs, and the intersection of innovative science with public health. This strategic role requires a leader with a proven track record in policy and advocacy, including strong relationships with federal officials, legislators, and regulators. The Vice President will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive advocacy strategies, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals, and engaging with key stakeholders to advance the company's public policy and legislative initiatives.Applicants for the Vice President, Policy & Advocacy position should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, regulatory policy, or related roles, with a degree in a relevant field. A background in law, political science, or public policy is required, and an advanced degree is preferred. The role involves serving as a critical team member for policy and advocacy, contributing to strategic outreach plans, and supporting the company's policy needs across all stages of drug development. Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills are essential, as are an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for the company's mission of celebrating science and helping patients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful policy advocacy and be adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
