Responsibilities for the BDR
Responsible to develop new business opportunities within company territories and customer base for each of the company's product segments.
Contact business by telephone, e-mail or through other technology platforms to solicit sales for goods or services.
Deliver explanation of products and services to potential or existing customers; and persuade potential or existing customers to purchase additional products or services.
Utilize printed and digital marketing material for product segments to better educate and inform customers about product abilities and specifications.
Refer customers to appropriate team member for resolution to problem, for answers to questions or for additional information about products and/or services.
Obtain or update existing customer information such as contact names, addresses, payment methods, etc. in customer database.
Maintain open channels of communication with all current and/or potential customers on a consistent and regular basis.
Keep a record of prospects and interactions for future inquiries and contact interaction.
Use company electronic platforms such as, Salesforce and P21 to manage and report all business and sales activity.
Required to maintain frequent communication with inside sales support staff for all cost, timely quotation, sales lead follow-up and team administration, as needed.
Required to communication with outsides sales teams for project opportunities that may require presence onsite with customers for improved with project development.
Continually prospecting for new customer's within company territories.
Meet deadlines for customer needs and administrative tasks.
Perform all other related duties as assigned by supervision.
Requirements for the BDR Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technically related field isa plus
Three to five years' related experience warm calling and/orinside sales highly preferred
At least two years' related sales experience in technical,industrial, or engineered products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with theability to translate complex concepts into easily understood language
Ability to use software suites, presentation software, spreadsheets,and collaboration tools
Attention to details, organizational aptitude, and superiorsales skills necessary
