Job Description
We are on the hunt to find a versatile talent that can take charge of the company’s marketing department.
Essential Functions
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Understanding of the company’s target markets and ability to tailor marketing campaigns to improve response.
· Head the marketing department by developing and executing marketing calendar. Calendar will include: social media updates, email marketing, press releases, website updates and event announcements.
· Ability to track and produce reports reflecting customer response to marketing efforts.
· Assist with planning monthly company networking events.
· Ability to creatively produce status updates, marketing campaigns and provide graphic designer with direction on marketing materials.
· Be able to strategize at a top level with managers/owners and create new business development strategies based on changing market conditions.
· Conduct all business with the highest ethical and professional standards.
· Execute highest level of integrity and trust with all customers.
· Develop, update all marketing and sales collateral.
· Maintain confidentiality of all company information and data.
· Develop relationships with new target clients, A/E/S, and key subcontractors and obtain opportunities for new business. May sometimes assist in a secondary role on pursuits.
· Lead and/or assist in producing proposals and presentations to clients.
Education, Experience & Knowledge
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business plus a minimum of 2 years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
· Demonstrates leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others, while maintaining effective relationships with customers by meeting or exceeding their requirements and expectations.
· knowledge of commercial construction and building practices and terminology a plus
· Demonstrates solid presentation skills and verbal/written skills.
· Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office).
