Responsibilities:
Estimate costs for commercial interiors projects, specializing in office, healthcare, retail, hospitality, and educational sectors.
Conduct thorough analysis and interpretation of project specifications and drawings.
Utilize industry-standard software and tools for accurate and detailed cost estimation.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids.
Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, material costs, and subcontractor rates.
Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and presentations for prospective projects.
Requirements:
Minimum 7-10 years of construction estimating experience, with a focus on commercial interiors.
Extensive background in office interior fit-outs, corporate interiors, and related sectors.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools; familiarity with Procore is advantageous.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
Ability to work within a 30-mile radius of Manhattan, NY.
