Job Description
Responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. The position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the required IFRS accounting principles, practices, internal controls, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Responsible for internal and external audit requirements.
Reviewing and approving appropriate general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
Maintaining the SAP general ledger system.
Preparing financial statements each month per the required deadlines. Ensure all required monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reporting is submitted accurately and per the deadline.
Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to ensure compliance to the company's internal control policy.
General ledger/trial balance account analysis oversight, review, and approval (income statement and balance sheet).
Month end close and external financial audit support.
Oversight for the annual external audit ensuring timely delivery of all required documents and schedules.
Ensure compliance for all related controlling policies at all locations.
Ensure that the monthly closing process and related timelines are adhered to in all locations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
5 - 8 + years accounting experience
General accounting experience required
Superior analytical and quantitative skills
IFRS experience and knowledge desired
Advanced proficiency in MS Office including Excel
SAP experience desired
Knowledge of BI (Business Intelligence) and AFO (Analysis for Office) desired
Must have excellent organization and interpersonal skills
Business travel occasionally required
