Job Description We are seeking a Technical Service Representative (Metal Deco Ink) to work with us. This person willreporttothe Technical 2-Piece Manager for performance of assigned functions and coordinates with Inplant Technicians and Managers. The person in this role will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%. As a Technical Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
Performing Technical Service investigations in the local Lab or at customer locations
Performing color matchesand formula optimizations
Inventory management and record-keeping
Housekeeping, purchasing and other duties as assigned
Qualifications To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
Must be able to pass a color vision test
Have the ability and willingness to travel
Be able to match colors effectively
Effectively communicate with peers and customers
Have good and effective written, reading comprehension, and verbalskills
Be able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:
Have an associate degree in chemistry or equivalent
SAP experience and proficient with Microsoft Suite programs.
3-5 years in the ink industry and experience in commercial printing
