Accounts Receivable Specialist

LHH is working with a rapidly growing Non-Profit who are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team on a six month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process , ensuring timely collections and accurate record-keeping. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in both accounts receivable and collections.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections
Monitor accounts for delinquency and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments
Review and reconcile customer accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and concerns related to billing and payments
Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status and collections activities for management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions and interactions with customers
Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as needed
Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable and collections
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP)
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
