Director, Revenue, Strategy and Operations

LearnUpon is looking for a Director, Revenue, Strategy and Operations to join our team in Ireland or the US.

Our Revenue Operations and Strategy team is vital to our go to market efforts as a Company. You are responsible for driving new business pipeline, revenue and uncovering expansion opportunities. Revenue Operations will be a key business partner to design processes, tools and workflows that will accelerate revenue growth. This role will sit under the CFO and support the Sales, CX, Marketing and Business Development teams.
What will I be doing?
Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to dive into the data and craft an optimal go-to-market structure. This role will combine a strategic and problem solving mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. You'll;
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, CX, Finance, etc. providing thought leadership to drive the business forward
Work closely with Sales and Business Development Leadership to identify and plan key regional territories and market segmentation
Develop and influence new processes and technologies that optimize the path for supporting the revenue growth of the businesses globally across all routes to market
Work with leaders to create and maintain “the source of truth” dashboards for reps, and sales leaders
Streamline and optimize sales processes, including pipeline definitions, stages, key milestones, weights, etc.
Lead revenue forecasting and planning efforts for accurate projections and resource allocation
Prepare and present reports on revenue performance, trends, and initiatives to senior leadership that provide easy to understand insights
Analyze sales metrics and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Manage sales technology tools like CRM systems, automation software, and analytics platforms
Design and manage sales compensation and incentive plans to drive desired sales behaviors and outcomes
Collaborate with other departments for aligned strategies and initiatives, especially in revenue growth. Remove silos and improve feedback loops
Establish and maintain governance processes and policies for compliance and consistency in sales ops
Define and manage sales territories and quotas for optimized coverage and accountability
Conduct quarterly reviews with leaders to evaluate performance and identify areas of improvement
Be a trusted advisor to GTM leadership
What skills do I need?
At least 10 years’ experience working in B2B SaaS Revenue Operations or GTM functions
At least 3 years’ experience in a management / leadership role
Experience of working within a company that has scaled ARR to >$100M
Strong understanding of SaaS business model including GTM strategies, ACV, inbound demand generation and inside sales model
Outcome orientated mindset with a passion for delivering a superior “customer” experience to internal stakeholders
Get-it-done attitude: not afraid to roll up your sleeves, get into the data and analyse the business to identify areas of improvement.
Does what it takes to get the job done whilst also thinking & acting at a strategic level
Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and the skill of dealing with ambiguity
Ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders, using data to tell a story
Expert proficiency using Salesforce
