Position: PeopleSoft HCM Consultant
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: DOE
Looking for an experienced PeopleSoft professional with at least 12 years of experience on PeopleSoft HCM . Must be a Benefits SME, Affordable Care Act .
We have the need of understanding North American payroll and payroll taxation.
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, and supports complex applications or integrated suites of applications. May also perform a team lead role. Conducts analysis of existing complex integrated systems.
Consults with business owners to develop technical solutions to business problems and/or opportunities, which are cost-effective, and value added.
Performs program analysis and design and creates program and component specifications.
Prepares estimates for development work to meet business requirements.
Designs integrated technical solutions.
Prepares and/or reviews system and technical design documentation.
Involved in making decisions related to technical architecture and technical design.
Maintains in-depth understanding of application and technology architecture to ensure designs support the architecture.
Develops application/utility programs including coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance on complex systems.
Ensures development standards are defined and implemented and that development staff is educated on use of standards.
Participates in the evaluation and recommendation of development tools and development efficiencies.
Coordinates with QA testing groups to ensure resolution to issues and quality software.
Develops and executes detailed systems testing and implementation plans, test specifications and test cases.
Develops system migration specification and aids with deployment into production.
Provides on-call support for production systems and new software releases.
Identifies software bugs or modification needs. Monitors program problem resolution.
Creates or contributes to project and resource planning, control, and status reporting functions for assignments/projects, including setting cost, schedule, and performance.
Acts as a technical resource to others in the development group.
Trains, develops, and mentors other engineers and technical staff.
Defines and implements processes (such as code reviews) to ensure adherence to architecture standards, code consistency and maintainability.
Presents IT solutions and concepts to IT and business management.
Ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment.
Desirable qualifications and experience:
Technical Candidate must have experience in PeopleSoft HR and Salary Payroll application development including Core HR, North America Payroll, Benefits Admin, T&L, Projects, FO Staffing, application pages, queries, customizations, Bolt-ons, Employee & Manager self-service, regulatory & taxes changes, PeopleTools and PUMs upgrades.
Supports integrations with external third parties.
Must have experience with Oracle, SQL, SQR, PeopleTools, Integration Broker, App Engine, Component Interface, BI Publisher, PS Query
Experience with Azure DevOps and STAT is a plus.
Excellent communication, time management, problem solving and decision- making skills.
Expert knowledge of structured development methodologies and iterative development.
Expert development skills, and equivalent experience with development tools in the computing environment supported.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Professional: At least 12 years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.1+

Effective communication skills are required.
Must have experience with People Tools 8.54 or above.
Must have experience with Oracle 11.0+ or above and can create tables, queries, and stored procs.
