Logistics Specialist
Location: Alameda, CA
Salary: $30 – 32 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to track shipments and resolve issues.
Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and transportation activities.
Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and customs clearance procedures.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Provide support to other areas of the operations team as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally in BioTech space.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
