Summary:
The Workforce Development Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and cultivating workforce development strategies and diverse partnerships that will ensure the leveraging of resources and the sustainability of the program. Develop outreach and implement workforce and economic development engagement strategies for partnerships with local schools, colleges, and universities that align with the talent pipeline workforce goals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
Display a “can do” spirit and a tenacity for sourcing and placing qualified providers.
Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Strong computer and analytical skills; proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
Flexible to travel occasionally and work outside of standard office hours.
Understanding of budget and reporting requirements
Ability to use Microsoft Office products (particularly MS PowerPoint and Excel)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree ( Required)
Masters Degree ( Preferred)
Four years of progressive experience in human resources and/or organization development or other related field (Required)
Five years of project management experience.(Preferred)
Ability to design, implement, and evaluate training and workforce development programs for effectiveness and make program improvements. (Required)
Proven ability and competence to function in a highly visible role with heavy cross-functional interaction across the human resources platform. (Required)
Technical and practical grasp of HR practices and metrics to deliver fully integrated human capital solutions to clients. (Required)
Exceptional written/oral communication and interpersonal skills; confidence in presenting to large audiences. (Required)
Use qualitative and quantitative metrics to evaluate the success of training sessions, internships, and other workforce initiatives, ensuring they meet set objectives. (Required)
Must have sound technical skills, and analytical ability, including the ability to interpret metrics/dashboards, good judgment, and a strong operational focus. (Required)
Certification in the field such as Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP), Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), or Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) (Preferred)
Track record of managing large-scale training or workforce development programs. (Preferred)
Strong project management, diagnostic, and consulting skills (Preferred)
