The Workday Time Management team’s overall goal is to provide high business value for our customers by accelerating the delivery of our product features in an agile environment while safeguarding the high quality our customers expect from Workday Workforce Management Applications.

Workday Time Management provides an end-to-end solution to manage all aspects of worker’s Time Tracking and worker’s Time Offs for millions of employees.

Workday is unique in that it builds enterprise software in the cloud on a single codeline through a continuous development model allowing for rapid delivery of our software to our customers. On this team, you’ll be working with key architects, product managers, and other stakeholders delivering a new generation of on-demand enterprise solution designed to meet the needs of today's global businesses.

Focus on best in class delivery:

Guide your development team to adapt to the latest cloud computing technologies who are building enterprise software in the cloud on a single code line through an agile, continuous development methodology allowing for rapid delivery of our software.

Team up with architects, product managers and other partners to deliver a new generation of innovative solutions

Grow and lead a team of dedicated, dynamic and passionate software engineers. Partner together with our global team headquartered in Pleasanton, CA on delivering best in class global support and solutions.

Provide leadership to development team on delivering impactful, high quality features that our customers expect in an agile environment.

Encourage, support and drive innovation on our products and processes.

Clearly articulate trade-offs in process/architecture to meet delivery needs are vetted, communicated and well understood/agreed upon across key partners.

Foster happy and engaged teams:

Ensure that the team has a high-level engagement through clear roles, career growth and career development opportunities, recognition and feedback.

Continuously improve our processes:

Improve application health and performance through a data-driven approach.

Develop a continuous planning and delivery approach for features committed in 6 month release cycles.

Ensure that product delivery is high quality in both architecture design, code quality/standard methodologies. Ensure that we have happy customers:

Own and drive customer launches to ensure customer successful outcomes.

Ensure that customer issues are resolved according to severity level and impact.

Continuously look for ways and influence teams on improving our production support process and reducing our technical debt and overall customer issues.

About You

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of OO software design and development experience

3+ years building and managing high performing engineering teams as well as hiring top class engineers

BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Other Qualifications

You have experience guiding development teams using Agile development methodologies

You have led teams delivering large-scale, distributed, and highly concurrent systems

You have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle

You have a track record of ensuring that features meet requirements and partners are kept up to date throughout the development lifecycle

You are energized by helping your team with career growth and personal development

You learn quickly

You are passionate about delivering innovative technical solutions to meet client needs

You are both strategic and detail oriented

You like to collaborate with your team

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $148,000 USD - $222,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $140,600 USD - $264,000 USD
