Japan Application Team at Nova is looking for a Field Application Specialist (Creative and Pro-active one)

What will you do as “Field Application Specialist”?
Supply/Sustain OCD / XPS / Raman / SIMS metrology solution support multiple modules, i.e., Litho/CMP/Etch/Dep based on business need
Communicate and establish good relationship with customers for process & issue understanding.
Involve up-to-date new metrology technics / products / applications and perform pre-sales demo / presentations to
customers.
Co-work with HQ or other subsidiaries (i.e., IL/US/CN/JP/SG) to develop new application solutions, able to support / work abroad.
Pro-actively maintain semiconductor knowledge from industry and international academic conferences.
Be highly sensitive in collecting market information.
Own presales activities for tools adoption/utilization.
Be flexible to cross-divisional activities per company’s requirements.

Requirements o Education : Above master’s degree in physical, Chemistry, Material Science Engineering or Chemical Engineering background
o Experience : Experience in metrology/inspection and experience in Semiconductor industry is a big plus.
o Knowledge : Basic knowledge with semiconductor process, good project management/leadership skill
o Flexibility : Willing to travel to various regions for customer support activities or trainings
o Language : Proficient in English, Japanese both written and verbal. Basic Mandarin verbal skill is a big plus.
