Summary
Provides expert level technical support of IHC principles to assist clients and actively promote Biocare products and services. Troubleshoot minor instrumentation and software issues, train customers, optimize assays, create & submit paperwork, provide follow-up support, perform presentations/workshops, and participate in technical/business reviews.

Essential Functions

Provide expert technical support on all Biocare Medical instrumentation & products via remote communication and on-site visits.
Provide proficient product usage training, optimization of experiments and assistance with advancement of sales process.
Provide technical direction and support to customers/field sales on operation, maintenance, and correct usage of company products.
Completion of documentation associated with job function, including client communications, field applications reports, expense submissions, training documentation and CRM submissions in a timely manner.
Assist with Applications training, in-house Technical Support, and open territory coverage as assigned.
Work closely with sales and marketing customer care, QA/QC, research, and development to address customer concerns, determine corrective action and customer follow-up to achieve goals and ensure client satisfaction.
Participate in tradeshows, seminars, and workshops as required.
Adherence to all Biocare Medical policies and procedures.
Provide support to FAS and FSE Team members as requested.
Optimize Biocare reagents on competitive platforms as requested.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Competencies
Two to five (2-5) years related experience in laboratory environment and IHC/ISH/FISH experience.
Bachelors’ Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
HT/HTL (ASCP) certification preferred.
Ability to work on the most complex assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
Ability to accomplish all tasks assigned by manager with minimal supervision.
Ability to create, organize and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
Ability to efficiently address & solve problems independently.
Ability to interact and communicate professionally with clients to resolve routine and non-routine product/instrumentation related issues.
Maintain professional certifications, technical acumen, and overall developments in related fields.
Possess expert technical knowledge on all the use of all Biocare products and instrumentation.
Microsoft Office Suite proficient to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Expected Hours of Work
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday and regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
Compensation Range
$85,000 - $100,000 annual
