You Are
The Senior Project Manager will be part of the Global Information Services (GIS) and will work with the Applied business units, support groups and the GIS organization to plan, organize, and manage the execution of critical projects successfully and drive to operations.
The Opportunity
Manage multiple projects and execute all phases of projects following Applied’s Project Management Methodology
Widely collaborate, manage the work and coordinates work performed by the GIS team, vendors, Applied business units, and other support groups
Manage project with defined scope, cost, time and deliver with quality
Develops detailed project plans that covers end-to-end activities and outcome
Prioritize deliverables and follow-through completion
Communicate status of the projects to key stakeholders in an established cadence
Follow project management best practices in planning, scheduling, resource management, risks, and issues management, tracking and reporting project progress,
communications, approvals, documentation, and manage change control
Represent the project to create materials, content and presents information for project reviews and updates
Ensure Applied’s Project Management Methodology compliance during project execution
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Information technology
10+ years of project management experience
Certifications in project management like PMP, CSM etc.
Proven track record in leading full lifecycle enterprise projects, involving business processes and IT, integration, and managing a large global team
Working knowledge of project planning tools is required
Ability to understand functional business processes, and how it relates to the IT projects
Proven experience in interacting and communicating with executive management and the project teams
Experience driving solutions in Cloud, services, integration, is desired
Experience driving enterprise Information Security projects is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Strong customer focus and orientation to ensure customer success and satisfaction
Ability to drive workshops and tying requirements to deliverables
Focus on results and outcome with projects
Ability to identify risks and issues and bring it to the right stakeholders’ attention for resolution
High attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in reporting
Ability to drive effective meetings with preparation, capturing minutes, actions, and follow-ups to closure of actions on time
Ability to prioritize key activities and execute them in a timely manner
Ability to fully understand Applied project management methodology and drive compliance on the deliverables
Execute Waterfall/SCRUM methodology following Applied PMM processes
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs
10% travel is possible
Need to be interacting and attending meetings in Europe and Asia time zones
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: California
Compensation Range: $80,000-$120,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits.
