About the Opportunity:
GSG is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial services, exceptional project management skills, and extensive experience in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and change management.
Responsibilities:
Planning, execution, and delivery of the EWS migration project, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to ensure successful project outcomes.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with product owners and development teams to ensure user stories and tasks are well-defined and prioritized.
Track and report on sprint metrics to ensure continuous improvement and delivery efficiency.
Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of the new EWS.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure buy-in.
Provide training and support to end-users and teams impacted by the migration.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a proven track record of managing complex IT projects in the financial services sector.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
Experience with large-scale data migration and system integration projects.
Knowledge of cloud-based EWS solutions and modern IT infrastructure.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with sprint planning, retrospectives, and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with EWS and familiarity with data migration projects.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
