Role Description
The Federal Civilian Account Executive role is a hybrid, full-time position located in Leesburg, VA, with flexibility for remote work. The role involves managing existing customer accounts and developing new accounts within the federal civilian sector. The position requires strong communication skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment with various internal departments. The ideal candidate will have experience selling enterprise technology solutions to federal customers and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Qualifications
Must have experience selling or managing consulting, professional and integration services toFederal Civilian Agencies such as: DHS, HRSA, DOJ, FDA
Must have experience working for a VAR
Strong interpersonal and communication skills desired.
Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills with emphasis on probing and listening for understanding.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Effective verbal and written Communications Skills
Ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline in CRM.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Working knowledge of Excel, a must
Ability to grow accounts
Ability to develop and execute against strategic goals and initiatives
Attention to detail
Ability to balance a large volume of workload
Ability to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines
Ability to learn in a fast paced environment
Skills
Experience selling technical products with a proven track record in prospecting, qualifying, and closing accounts.
Preference of selling at least one of the following product lines: Nutanix, Cisco, Dell, VMWare, Redhat, LG, etc.
Strong negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills
High energy, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and competitive drive to surpass goals and succeed
Passion for building relationships and solving problems
Effective, persuasive communication style
Ability to generate opportunity and produce results
