We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Planning and Program Excellence Leader to join our SBSEG-PD organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the planning processes across the organization, including both annual planning and in-year planning activities. Additionally, you will lead the establishment of program management best practices, serve as a center of excellence, and drive effectiveness and efficiencies across our teams. You will oversee a small team of 2-3 individuals to execute on these responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of annual planning processes, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define strategic priorities, resource allocation, and budget planning
Experience with leading significant change at scale across large organizations, including acting as a catalyst to accelerate outcomes
Establish and maintain program management best practices, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects and programs
Serve as a center of excellence for program management within the organization, providing guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
Well-rounded interpersonal skill set with the capacity to build strong, trusted relationships across a team to achieve a shared goal
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to increase effectiveness and efficiencies in project and program execution
Ability to generate innovative insights, ideas, and opportunities that help advance the business
Drive in-year planning activities processes and improvements across the organization, connected to the broader company-wide planning activities
Manage a small team of 2-3 individuals, providing leadership, mentorship, and support to enable their professional growth and development
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of planning and program management activities and drive continuous improvement
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
5+ years of experience in strategic planning, program management, or related roles
Proven track record of leading planning processes and driving strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong understanding of program management best practices, methodologies, and tools
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a
team
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and drive results
Experience in driving process improvements and efficiency initiatives
