The CRH Solutions Marketing Director is responsible for developing marketing strategy that positions CRH as a solutions’ partner of choice in the markets it serves around the globe, drives cross-functional alignment and customer-connected initiatives that enable sales to accelerate growth. As director, you will design the marketing infrastructure and campaign strategies that drive growth for CRH by leveraging analytics, best practices and processes. This position reports into CRH Americas while supporting the global Solutions team and is based out of CRH offices in Atlanta (remote). CRH Americas may consider remote and external applicants.

Job Responsibilities

Work with the global solutions team to develop the Solutions internal and external marketing & communications strategy, aligning with key stakeholders across CRH to gain and maintain approval as strategy is implemented.

Ensure proper alignment with corporate communication guidelines, securing required approvals for all marketing, messaging and content related to Solutions

Lead the day-to-day relationship across internal and external stakeholders including Corporate Communications, Corporate Affairs, and external branding and media agencies.

Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices for Solutions marketing I

Use data and field feedback to make recommendations to create new marketing assets and improve existing content

Responsible for managing social media platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, Website, etc.) while working with external and internal stakeholders to create relevant content

Support with the development of marketing and branding material, i.e., presentations, videos, and other formats of communication material for internal and external purposes.

Develop relevant content leveraging Solutions wins across the vast portfolio of operating companies and brands to include CRH Ventures, projects from the Innovation fund, and key initiatives from the ICSC (Innovation Center for Sustainable Construction)

Excellent Written and Verbal Communication: Convey messages clearly, concisely, and effectively through various mediums such as emails, reports, presentations, and online platforms

Strategic Thinking: Understand the organization's objectives, identify key messages, and develop strategies to communicate those messages effectively.

Brand Management: Develop brand guidelines, ensuring brand consistency across all communication channels, and monitoring and addressing any potential brand reputation issues.

Networking: Ability to develop relationships across the organization and bring teams together to further our objectives. Including proper stakeholder management between the internal teams and external comms and media agencies.

Entrepreneurial mindset: Thrive in entrepreneurial environments with the capacity to pivot and adapt to constant changes. Independent thinker and decision maker.

Adaptability and Flexibility: Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while dealing with various stakeholders.

Job Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience including:

Bachelor's degree in communications/journalism, marketing/advertising or media studies preferred

Previous experience in marketing roles, corporate communications, digital media agencies or brand agencies

Demonstrated leadership, ability to motivate others and influence without authority

Ability to work independently in delivering high quality work and capable of effectively collaborating with cross functional teams as needed

Working knowledge of content management systems, CRM, marketing automation and digital graphics production

Experience managing digital content, knowledgeable on social media platforms and social media marketing best practices
