The Global Trainee Program is an intensive two-year program (full-time) that supports development of promising professionals with the potential to become future leaders in Tenaris.
A Global Trainee will build expertise, engage with colleagues around the world, and demonstrate performance while learning about Tenaris’ culture and industrial heritage leaving them prepared to take the next steps in their career.
Contributes to the Threading department while he/she learns, trains, and improves skills in that particular area in order to gain a profound understanding of processes, products, and services.
Purpose
Coordinates and controls Premium threading activities by complying on time with Premium Threads manufacturing volume, overseeing quality standards and optimizing the production process. Generates a safe work environment.
Main Responsibilities
Ensures that production programs are completed by controlling the load distribution among the machines.
Complies on time with Premium Threading manufacturing volume coordinating different line production plans, defining sequence of activities, carrying out production plan follow up, monitoring production orders in process, analyzing specifications according to the rule and customer special conditions. Analyzes the best production alternative and the most profitable roadmap.
Analyzes and solves any operating and non-operating problems that may arise in the area and determines the causes for problems and the corrective actions to be taken to solve it.
Analyzes, interprets, and recommends courses of action for more complex topics.
Optimizes the Premium Threading production process proposing new procedures, identifying the best moment to implement technological changes, and supporting the analysis on the implementation and redistribution of processes for growth and improvement of the special Threads line.
Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility. To participate in HSE objectives setting, define and implement programs and actions applicable to the area of responsibility for continual improvement of HSE performance.
Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to multi-task
Hands-on exposure (handling tools, materials, machine work, etc.)
Energetic and collaborative
Innovative thinker and problem solver
Takes initiative and able to work independently on multiple projects
Analytical mindset
Great interest to work at the Industrial Mill
Experience with AUTOCAD
Advance with Excel functions
Power Bi is a plus
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Demonstrate interest and contribute to the automation of processes and PLC Support.
Demonstrate a strong attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies, methodologies, and industrial processes to stay current in the field
