Director - Coordinated Entry, Outreach, and Diversion

Director - Coordinated Entry, Outreach, and Diversion The Director of Coordinated Entry System (CES), Outreach, and Diversion serves as a key organizational leader responsible for the planning, policy, implementation, and oversight of CES, Outreach and Diversion programs at Partners for HOME (PfH) - the Collaborative Applicant for the Atlanta Continuum of Care (CoC). The Director is responsible for strategic oversight and direction for the Coordinated Entry System (CES), ensuring people have efficient and effective means to access rehousing interventions. The Director ensures a highly coordinated, homeless crisis response system and builds relationships to deliver a Coordinated Entry system that results in making homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring.

Collaboration is the key to success.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the homeless service system and HUD continuum of care structure, policy and regulations, a passion for ending homelessness using a Housing First philosophy, a proven track record of leading high impact strategies and teams, and effectively leveraging and garnering the collaborative engagement of diverse stakeholders throughout the community.

Areas of Responsibility

Works collaboratively with PFH staff, Continuum of Care (CoC) partners, the City of Atlanta, and other key stakeholders to lead and execute a high performing and accessible coordinated entry system CoC-wide.

Develop broad-ranging relationships and provide exceptional customer service to our CoC partners, partnering with them to ensure a transparent system is in place to measure outcomes and deliver results.

Oversee strategic development for ongoing expansion/refinement of CES.

Bridge and expand CES to other systems including jails, hospitals, 211/311 and crisis lines.

Lead and oversee the CoC street outreach, and encampment work, diversion and strategy to end chronic homelessness.

Oversee and manage two project management staff

Facilitates work groups/committees towards strategic goals

Creates data driven approaches to drive the work forward.

Educational Background Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred

Skills/Experience

High energy and a passion for the PFH’s mission, values and goals.

2+ years of experience in project management and demonstrated progressive leadership experience.

Significant experience building relationships, and gaining community buy-in and consensus building with a record of measurable results.

Superb organizational skills, with the proven ability to create and implement efficient development systems, plan strategically, allocate work, set and manage objectives, analyze and mitigate risk, and create and manage projects.

Ability to excel in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, diverse, results-oriented environment, and to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Excellent verbal communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.

Impeccable, professional, and persuasive writing and editing skills.

High energy and a passion for the strategic direction of the CoC and the City of Atlanta in ending homelessness.

Integrity and humility that encourages and inspires constituents; strong sense of judgment.

Ability to seek out constructive criticism and growth.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and of project management tools

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred

3 years of experience in homeless services

Partners for HOME offers a competitive compensation package including generous health benefits, retirement match, and up to 4 weeks’ vacation. Salary range is $85,000 to $95,000.
