About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Controller to lead its financial accounting and reporting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting systems, including financial planning and analysis, general ledger accounting, cost and asset accounting, payroll, accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent management skills, the ability to ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements, and a proven track record in financial management. The Vice President, Controller will also be involved in the continual improvement of the budgeting process, development of policies and procedures, and will play a key role in the professional and personal growth of the finance and accounting team.Candidates for the Vice President, Controller position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, a CPA certification, and at least 15 years' of experience in a financial role. An advanced degree is preferred, and experience in the health care industry is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a self-reliant problem solver, results-oriented, and possess exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills. The work environment is described as high-growth and fast-paced, with the role being remote-based. The Vice President, Controller will report to the CFO and must be able to manage multiple responsibilities, build and manage teams, and maintain a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
