The Vice President of Operations primary duty is the management of their divisions within our PSSI Sanitation business to ensure maintenance of quality service standards while prioritizing team member safety, food safety, meeting/exceeding budgetary requirements, and all other expectations as defined in the PSSI Mission Statement.

THE WORK YOU WILL DO:
As a VP of Operations with PSSI Sanitation, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of your region, collaborating with cross functional teams as you focus on operational excellence, service improvements, and driving growth. Youll be a key leader of the company, role modeling a culture of compliance, safety, and a People-first value system within your division. This position will report to the Senior Vice President of Sanitation. Additional duties may include:
Daily communication with direct reports including coaching, developing, setting performance expectations, and agreeing upon performance goals and objectives to aid you in maintaining a succession plan in each division
Coach teams in the relationship between strategic goals and tactical priorities by providing continuous feedback and formal reviews during mid-year and year-end cycles
Drive management accountability for performance in accordance with PSSI Mission Statement
Plan, direct, and coordinate operations in support of Companys growth while overseeing revenue generation to ensure expectations for sales growth are met or exceeded
Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education and collaboration with department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets
Actively ensure standards for service quality, safety, team member relations, and performance are maintained while anticipating customer requirements, expectations, and needs
Establish and maintain long-term and effective corporate customer and networking relationships through active involvement and participation in business, customer, and community boards
Advise, negotiate, manage, and administer all contracts into which the Company may enter with a focus on win-win outcomes
Partner, communicate, collaborate, and problem solve with peers, cross-functional teams, and the executive group on strategic initiatives and action plans
Stay up to date on information, procedures, and technology affecting functional area(s) to increase innovation and ensure compliance while nurturing change as it relates to continuous improvement
Assist in special projects as requested by the SVP Sanitation, and company leadership
YOUR MUST HAVES:
10+ years of operations related experience in a food production/sanitation environment
Bachelors Degree or commensurate experience
Working knowledge of government regulations (EPA, USDA, OSHA)
Proficient computer skills associated with Microsoft Office and basic skills required to learn new programs
A valid drivers license
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining long-time customer relationships

OUR ENVIRONMENT:
This position is based in your home office, when not travelling to the corporate headquarters, customer, or plant locations which may require the use of PPE including safety glasses, hardhat, ear protection and/or other protective equipment/clothing. Walking, standing, sitting, and computer work are all required in this environment. Sitting for long periods of time when travelling (mostly driving) is also required.
