Primary Purpose:
Are you detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality? As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you'll perform visual and mechanical checks/inspections on manufactured products, ensuring they meet the highest standards. This role involves conducting out-of-box inspections on finished goods from the production floor and retraining staff when issues are identified.
Key Responsibilities: Perform in-process inspections.
Conduct first-piece inspections.
Execute operational testing and visual inspections on parts/assemblies.
Record inspection data onto reporting documents as directed.
Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Capable of training production staff.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using simple test equipment to set up and run tests with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of hand tools used for dimensional inspections (e.g., calipers, tape measures, thickness gauges).
General knowledge of quality assurance/quality control functions.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 85 pounds).
Bilingual Spanish is required.
Working Conditions: Extensive walking, standing, and/or climbing.
Heavy lifting, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Work in close proximity to machinery with moving parts, moving objects, or vehicles.
Exposure to dampness and humidity.
Exposure to slippery and uneven surfaces.
Safety: Interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations.
Initiate and maintain proper and necessary safety equipment as prescribed by law.
Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.
Follow established safety procedures and techniques while performing job duties.
Correct unsafe conditions.
Pay Rate: $14 - $17.00 per hour
