The Director, Trade Development is responsible for overseeing the assignedBusiness Management team and nurtures Trade Development Ways of Working(WoW). Masters the 5 Core Competencies: business planning, performanceevaluation, product and inventory management, pricing and revenuemanagement, demand planning/ forecasting/ budgeting. Responsible forembracing and developing behaviors consistent with BBG's Trade Developmentmission. Must always adhere to the established business rules. Must embraceand support BBG's Reliability Model. Serves as the local market expert oncustomers, brands, key sales drivers, trends and market dynamics.Salary and Benefit Statement:Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salaryranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience.Compensation package: Range: $110,000- $140,000
This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program. Metrics andlevel of participation are determined annually.

Responsibilities
Provide oversite regarding Trade Development Ways of Working (WoW) aroundcore competencies.Lead direct reports effectively by clearly communicating roles andresponsibilities, expectations, and deliverables.Ensure timely delivery of all materials and communication.Collaborate with key suppliers to drive consistent Ways of Working within theTrade Development modelWorks cross-functionally with key stakeholders: Sales, RevenueManagement, Demand Planning, Finance to ensure business plan is achieved.Deliver BBG budgeted objectives.Hire, train and develop Trade team.Act as local commodity expert as assigned.Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and workexperienceMinimum of 7 years' experience in sales, trade marketing, management ortrade developmentAdvanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programsincluding presentation softwareMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communicationskills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skillsAbility to motivate and develop a teamDemonstrate and exhibit high levels of professionalismDemonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skillsInteract positively with internal and external individualsStrong business planning and collaboration skillsStrong sales, finance, budget management, negotiation and management skillsAbility to translate Strategy into relevant marketplace activityAbility to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communicationskills, discretion as well as customer service skillsPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly requiredto, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate acomputer and telephoneThis job description is only a summary of the typical functions of thisposition, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible jobresponsibilities, tasks and duties.
