Corporate Sales Director - Houston, TX

The Corporate Sales Director, reporting to the SVP Operations, will be responsible for implementing corporate sales initiatives and developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth, customer satisfaction and ultimately meet the company business and financial objectives and will have a proven track record of oilfield service and completions sales and customer contacts in Houston, TX.
This Sales Director will play a critical role with the corporate team in developing and meeting sales growth targets, ensuring the implementation of marketing plans for development of new business; maintaining the customer base, including existing customers; acquisition of new customers and penetrating new markets with this growing oil field service company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, directing, and generating detailed sales plans and regular reporting of market developments of the organization.
Develop new business prospects and monitor competitor activities, reporting data to SVP and district operations management.
Create business development activities and marketing concepts, keeping alignment with the organization goals and financial objectives.
Work jointly with the executive management to create and promote effective customer service.
Communicate with operations on new service ideas and status of ongoing new technologies and prototypes.
Work with field sales representatives on negotiation and close out of contracts at profitable margins as needed, including coordination with operations teams’ leadership.
Manage and coordinate sales strategy and proposal preparation in accordance with corporate and industry procedures.
Provide customer feedback in developing the Company services strategy.
May coordinate organization advertising and public relations activities.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 10 years of proven sales and leadership experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Sales experience in well servicing, pressure control services, coil tubing or pumping services preferred.
Demonstrated business acumen and ability to deliver sales growth.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, and data evaluation—demonstrated competence with MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel software.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
This position requires frequent travel, approximately 50-60%. Most travel is outside the local area and overnight.
