Job Description
Assist the Senior Accountant on bi-weekly payroll computation and processing for all entities in United States.
Close cooperation with Operations and HR departments to ensure accurate reporting of payroll.
Ensure payroll journal entries and accruals are recorded in the general ledger in a timely manner and are accurate.
Assist performing monthly payroll and tip reconciliations as part of the month-end close procedures.
Prepare the journal entry of entering in health insurance and ADP invoices to esnure the G/L is accurately represented.
To perform all additional work designated by the Senior Accountant as needed.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting.
1-2 years of proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced
Environment.
Demonstrated experience in all areas of payroll and payroll processing inclusive of payroll tax.
Initiative and self-driven desire for excellence.
Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel.
Knowledge of ADP and WFN a strong plus.
Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills.
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
