What you will do:
Delaware Valley Community Health (DVCH) is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant/Payroll Specialist to join our team. Under the supervision of the Accountant Manager, the position is responsible for both bi-weekly payroll for 350+ organization, general ledger and account analysis; grant management; monthly departmental budget reviews; and assistance with annual budget preparation. Produces journal entries and assists with reports and analysis. Assist with analyzing payroll workflow and industry best practices and evaluating options for improvements. May require travel to other health centers for operational needs.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who is analytical, dependable, and efficient to ensure accurate and timely support to the CFO.

Requirements
4-year degree in Accounting or Finance required; healthcare/grant management experience preferred.
Accounting experience preferred.
Experience in computerized payroll systems. (Paylocity experience is preferred.)
Sage 100 Accounting software experience. (F9 experience a plus.)
Knowledge of payroll taxes and W-2 processing preferred.
High level of proficiency in Excel to perform spreadsheet and financial analysis; Knowledge of V LOOKUP and pivot tables a plus.
Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate as part of team.
Demonstrated strong analytical and project management skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated initiative to identify and resolve issues.
