Position Summary

This position will lead system integration and automated test for circuit cards and electronic assemblies across multiple programs at Innoflight. You will design, develop, and implement test plans and approaches for requirements verification. This includes regular consultation with subject matter experts to develop and propose complex testing strategies. This role will lead the design and writing of testing plans, software, and procedures to verify product requirements. This role will also lead investigation of test failures, debug test setups, software, and hardware to identify root cause, and works within the Test Review Boards to resolve issues.

Software Integration and Test Engineers serve as product integration and test engineers, working with the hardware and software teams to resolve issues during integration, and leading the push of the product forward to release. A key element will be coordination with design and systems engineering to map product requirements to those improved test capabilities.Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Develops software, primarily in python, to interface with test equipment and products under test.

Identifies testable product requirements and leads development of Design and Acceptance test plans for validating interfaces, performance, and product features.

Designs and improves architecture for Innoflight's automated testing system and leads feature development and integration.

Leads the investigations and resolution of failures and presents findings at Test Review Boards.

Coordinates with the manufacturing operations team to ensure clarity and accuracy of test procedures and reports.

Collaborates with the hardware and software teams to integrate and test products.

Provides accurate estimates for labor and schedule for the development of test features and test procedures.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Bachelor's Degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) is required.

7-10 years of experience in similar or related role.

Strong experience with Python programming and automation.

Experience with C/C++, Javascript, SQL, and Linux is a plus.

Experience documenting and tracking issues and presenting findings to others.

Experiencing troubleshooting software and communication with hardware interfaces.

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Frequently required prolonged periods in stationary position at a desk entering text or data into a computer or other machine by means of a traditional keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to move, position self, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally transport up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers, far visual acuity, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Salary Range

$95,000.00 - $135,000.00

However, Innoflight considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. Employees may be eligible for profit sharing and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. In addition, Innoflight provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401K, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
