Working with Christine Lary's group in her lab at the Roux Institute, this position will involve the use of advanced methods in data science and epidemiology, including machine learning methods. Molecular epidemiological analyses will include genome-wide association studies (GWAS), functional data analyses such as RNA-seq, multiomic integration, and pathway and network analyses. Epidemiological approaches will include pharmacoepidemiology, causal inference, and Mendelian Randomization. The individual in this position will use best practices for reproducible research and version control and contribute to manuscripts and presentations of the research.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required and master’s degree preferred in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Genetics or related field. Programming skills in R or related statistical software, prior experience in biostatistics, statistical genetics, computational biology, or genomics. Excellent communication and writing skills and some experience and or training in high performance computing.
